“When No One is Looking” is an interactive installation which comprised of a long narrow dark corridor. The passage walls had several fake hands protruding out, brushing against the body of the viewer. The structure allowed only one person to enter at a time and a CCTV camera recorded the reactions.

The work addresses the idea of violation and questions the positions of power and surveillance.

The installation garnered an audience of over 60,000 during the 10 day long festival. It triggered a discourse and became a safe space to share past incidents and memories of trauma.
